MY MORNING RITUAL

Let’s face it. We all wake up on the wrong side of the bed sometimes but we can certainly turn that around. How can we assure ourselves a day filled with the warm and fuzzies? It is said that what you do upon waking sets the tone for your day. I find that having a positive ritual creates a day filled with gratitude and abundance. Basically you’re telling the Universe I am ready to receive!!! Do I follow this routine 365 days a year, HECK NO, but the more I do this for myself the better I feel energetically. Everything just unfolds beautifully. You certainly do not have to follow what I do. Just create a ritual that resonates with you because I promise, you WILL notice a difference.

Water

Did you know that while you are sleeping you lose water? Yep! We lose water through respiration and sweating. By the time the sun comes up we are somewhat dehydrated. So, the first thing I do when I open up my big brown eyes is drink 20-32 ounces of water! Fill her up!! Water is essential and in order for our organs to function at optimal levels we must hydrate. On a side note, my hubby and I have a Berky Water Filter System which filters out EVERYTHING from chlorine, lead to fluoride. Gratitude List

Whip out the ol’ journal because it’s time for an attitude of gratitude. Did you know that you can change your mindset in an instant just by thinking or speaking of something or someone you are grateful for? The key in attracting the things that you want is to surround what you already have with love and appreciation. We are Human. We have aspirations and desires of things to come. I have a few of them on my vision board but in order to allow the Universe to deliver you have to be present. Be in the moment. Every morning-and yes I do slack from time to time- I fill a page or two with all that I am grateful for. Grab a journal and get to it! Right now I am loving this Eco-friendly journal!

Meditation

If you’ve never practiced meditation it’s natural to have resistance but let me put your mind at ease. Meditation can be 5 minutes of sitting still and focusing on your breath. You don’t have to jump right in to a 60 minute routine. That’s not realistic for most. But the benefits are worth giving it a try.
